The day started off well with the jouney taking less than two hours from Birmingham.
Called round Al's for a coffee before hitting the beach.Both of us decided 4.5ish sails would be about right on the water, which after sticking more down/out haul on after the first run was perfect.
The wind was perfect cross off, so had my first proper go at front side riding. After the first wave which I'd got pulled over the front of the board,when I got it right had some really good rides, loads of top and bottom turns in the three footish surf, loved it and want more. The rest of the time I spent fully powered blasting out the back.
